Default Torrents Not Downloading

Hi,

I have just now finished formatting my system.

I am unable to download torrents now

The status is simply "queued".

Why is this happening?

My limewire version is: 4.18.3.

Please do let me know what setting i may have missed out on.

Perhaps a few too many incomplete files. Queued simply means LW is too busy to handle them. So need to give it time.

In past sometimes LW would queue files for far too long because the LW preferences were semi corrupted. Deleting them & allowing LW to get fresh ones would sometimes fix this issue.

Also be careful when selecting torrents, if the file was hosted too long ago then sometimes there's rarely anybody around who still shares the exact same file.

LW has many limitations when it comes to torrents.

You would be much better off using a true torrent client such as uTorrent or Azureus (now Vuze). You'll have to deselect LW as your torrent downloader (I think it's under Options).
