Limewire can not optain license...
 

This is the dialog box I keep getting now EVERY time I click download for any song.

"Limewire is unable to obtain license for this song. Would you like to download it anyway?"

And I even just checked on songs I have ALREADY downloaded and played, and this box comes up on those as well.

What in the hell did I do wrong?

Check and see if you have the lisence warning ticked...
Go to Tools > options > Searcing > Lisence Warning and make sure the box is not ticked and select apply...

Limewire/Gnutella
 

This is the forum my Limewire program sent me too.

The top of my browser has a Limewire logo.

I really have no idea, I just downloaded LW this weekend.

Is Gnutella another download/sharing program? Is it free, is it efficient?

There's actually two options you can disable in LW to stop that licence process; see samples here License requirement (click on link)

Yes lots of Gnutella programs. :) LimeWire is simply the most popular one. Other one I'd recommend is Phex but the interface is not as simple looking to use as LW. ;)
