problems playing downloaded music....help

I am using xp....i downloaded music on limewire it plays fine on my computer but does not play in my car when I put it on a flash drive. The music I downloaded using an older version of bearshare is fine. New bearshare same problem. Someone, anyone please help me. Thanx
