This File is Corrupted

I have Limewire Pro.
I have been attempting to download some audio (music) files.
The Search function locates the files that I want.
I click on download. The download goes well until perhaps 50 or 70 percent is downloaded. Then I get the message: 'File Corrupted', and I cancel the download. This happens time and again. Can anyone explain why? and is there a way around it?

Try previewing the file...does it sound ok? What happens if you continue with the download after you get the corrupted file message - does the file play ok?

If you use the forum search to look for corrupt or corrupted, you might find some more info.

Also, try another search for the same file. Find a single modem source & download the file from them. Is that any better?
