![]() Hello-I have recently (last night and today) been getting a "Disc Problem" instead of "Complete" on my downloads. Is there something I need to change? The only change I have made is to update my version of Java, and I didn't do this until after I received the first "Disc Problem" error. This has happened on 4 downloads in a row. Can anyone direct me on what to do? Thank you! |

![]() Thank you for replying! I have my computer set up to defrag every wednesday night. I just checked my settings and it ran last Wednesday. So, I don't think that is the problem. I also am finding that every time I shut down my computer and bring it back up, I'm back behind a firewall, and I have to go thru the whole process to open up a port again. Do you think the two problems are related? |

![]() I'm not to sure about the two being related but the firewall shouldn't be doing that... Could you supply these details so I can have a better look at what maybe causing these problems... http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...-you-post.html Could you also tell me how you are re-setting the firewall when you start back up... ![]()

![]() Found them all in "Incomplete". Use search if you have to for that file title. Then..... In windows XP: Start Help and Support Performance and Maintenance Freeing up disc space. Freeing space on your hard disc. Disc Cleanup Wait for Windows to calculate space to be saved. I allow it to do everything recommended but you can pick and choose. Then: From the same "Using Disc Cleanup" window choose Maintaining your Computer choose Defragmenting.... and do it. |
