can't get sound before downloading

i previously had limewire where i could preview and play the songs before downloading. i let someone use my computer, they cleared out everything without my approval and i lost limewire. when i reinstalled it, i seem to not have the ability to listen to the music, only to download. i wish to listen first, and would like to know what to do to get that option back. thanks
