aborted when a download finishes is say aborted instead of completed anyone else ever seen this and what does it mean |
It means LW has detected a corruption in the file & had problems redownloading the corrupt or missing parts. LW will attempt to redownload up to six times I think it is. Usually you'd receive a 'corrupt file' popup window message unless you clicked 'No' to continue & ticked 'Always use this answer' option in which case your downloads will simply discontinue & give the aborted message.; see http://www.gnutellaforums.com/downlo...wards-why.html I guess could also see http://www.gnutellaforums.com/downlo...s-setting.html Reason for corruption might be the original file somehow changed it's details such as with information tagging, else the problem is at your end, possibly with a highly fragmented or partially corrupt drive. |
