I can't find a menu where I can import songs from a cd into limewire. Is this even an option? Thx.

No. The way to do it would be to use whichever audio program you normally use to extract the songs. Then convert to whichever format. mp3 format is most popular. However some people share aif, wav & other lossless formats. A high variable bit rate for mp3's is best.
Then to add them to shares, go to LW's menu bar, Tools > Options > Sharing & press the Add button & direct LW to where the folder of music is.

EAC Guides <---
If you want to do it properly. It might be a bit hard to configure first time, but after that it's easy, if you just save your profile. if ripping to mp3, the qualities V0 (best size vs. quality) and 320 (best quality) are the best settings. If ripping lossless, then make it FLAC v8 and tag it properly. |
