Need Program To Download? (to unlock videos)

Your Operating System: Windows Vista Home Basic 32 Bit

Your Internet connection: DSL

The exact error message, if one pops up: It tells me that I have to download a program to unlock the videos and then it gives me a diff link each time... is there something else I should be downloading other then limewire?

Does this pop up in windows Media Player?

It could be just a codec issue.

That's exactly what it does... is there a way to fix it? I tried downloading divx and alshow but nothings working

I would highly recommend just downloading CCCP and setting MPC to open everything: Combined Community Codec Pack

IMHO I think that may be a commercial site wanting you to sign up.

VOD = Video-on-Demand

(From DivX site; The DivX Video-on-Demand program is an Internet-based service that lets you quickly and easily access high-quality movies that you can view on your PC.)
Sounds very commercial doesn't it.

I saw a report on a torrent site about this. One suggested:
"You pays your money, you voluntarily install the malware they provide, and there's a good chance the "movie" is a fake anyway." ... they removed the torrent from the site. I saw a few reports from different torrent sites where they have removed such video torrents.

Here's the punishing review of XVOD -> Xvod Codec Is A Virus

XVOD Decoder Needed - eXBii = Spyware

Always Use Bitzi when D/Ling Video Files. This will help against Corrupt files.

Instruction below.

After you have completed your search, Right click on the file that you're interested in. Now go to Advanced > Lookup File With Bitzi. Left click on that and a new browser window will open which is Bitzi. Now you will see how other members have rated this file. If you see something like "Bitprint not found" then Leave it alone. Its probably a Fake or Corrupt File. If it has been Rated then you can read what or how the members feel about the file.

Make sure You Scan EVERY File with your AV Program Before Opening.
Hope this Helps. :)
