Only finding mpegs I have been using Limewire for over 3 years and have always had great success finding what I'm looking for. As of 2 days ago, however, when I search video files, I only come up with about 20 matches, all of which are mpegs. If I were to search "Simpsons" in the past, I'd get hundreds of matches in many different formats - now only a few mpegs. I have followed all of the advice in the stickys, searched for and deleted the Limewire program folder and completely reinstalled, checked my Java version, the whole nine yards. If I could get some guidance on possibly 1) why this may have happened and 2) how to fix it, I'd be greatly appreciative! |
Perhaps you can use 'some' of the advice used here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/limewi...nnections.html. Sometimes it can be related to ultrapeers you are connected to, or people online at the time. There are poor performing or even 'dud' ultrapeers around. Closing & re-opening LW after a few mins is something some people try. Question is, are those mpegs proper files or spam.
