No iTunes Search Results
 

Very recently my LW search results included no iTunes compatable options. All of the search results were for Windows Media Player. I can find no option to change this nor had I changed anything to cause this. Please Help!!

wmp only? Do you mean the wmp icon or only wma files?
If wmp icon, then sounds like your wmp has inadvertently taken over as the default audio program, to learn how to change this back, see Setting default audio program. In a nutshell, right-click any .mp3 file on your computer, choose Open with .... choose iTunes, & check the option to always open with.

If only wma files, then check your keyword filter & be sure mp3 is not listed. :)

Thanks for the comeback. In the search results it is all wmp icons. It is interesting because when I did what you said about the default player...the wmp icon showed up in my iTunes Music folder. I opened with iTunes and will now try LW again...hopefully it works

Well..I went back thru iTunes prefs and found that the "make iTunes default audio player" was unchecked. I checked it, ran a LW search and the results are all still wmp. Any ideas?

Got it!! I went thru and unchecked anything that seemed pertianent in wmp. Woohoo!! Thanks again for the reply...have a great night!

Yes, a similar option in WMP from memory. Check the WMP options. Will need to restart LW for it to take effect probably. :)

LW is working great now! I'm trying to remember all of the songs!

i use itunes and now i want to use them both itunes and limewire is itunes stoping limewire from working? because when i type in a artist nothing comes up!! please help i did everything i could nothing seems to work

Sometimes no person sharing that artist online. Try using the Get More Results option. :)
