Hi all. Thanks for a great forum. Learnt a lot since reading here.:aweof:

I have windows xp, running LW 4.18.8. Tried the beta version but liked the older one better. Java is updated. Internet connection is 3G.

I have a movie DL that was at 64% and going along fine. I lost my connection while away from computer, reconnected but the DL then went back to 0%. Left it to start DL again thinking that it will resume the size again, but its DL from scratch again.
Checking incomplete folder the DL plays alot of the file, but if i launch it from the library it's only a couple of seconds. Incomplete and LW shows only one file with that name.

How can i restart this DL from the place it was before? Is there any tweak for the DAT file?
I've tried searching for the answer, but haven't found anything similar to this.

Jumping backward in versions can cause old incomplete files to not load, thus needing to resume from library window -> incomplete folder. The files would show zero %, but once the file actually starts to download again, it should show its previous download %.
If this is not the case, then I am not sure. As you have said, there is no other incomplete file with same or similar name.

AFAIK there would be no fix for your problem. Perhaps cancel the download. Search the topic again & see what ones you find. Perhaps making the correct choice 'might' continue it from where it was but I have some doubts.

The LW 5 beta/alpha handles some of the library information differently to 4.18 & earlier versions. This 'might' be the issue. I made a back up of my preferences, etc. before using the alpha version.

Thanks for the help. I started the DL in LW4.
I tried a new search, found the file and LW started back at the old percentage. You might want to add it to one of the stickys if it works for other people as a lot of them ask the similar question.
