Downloaded files gone

Hi guys,

I am in a bit of a bother here, all my files from my downloaded folder have gone, I even tried locating them by searching via the 'search for files & folders' in windows, but all the files are gone. It seems like Limewire has deleted my files without me even knowing. I usually save my files to a folder called 'Downloads' but when I opened the folder via 'my computer' the folder was empty. Nobody else touched the computer and the files were there a few days ago but not anymore. Does anybody know what's going on?
