I would also recommend defragmenting your hard disk drives.

Sounds like your E drive is mighty 'full' & keep in mind downloading using LW will fragment drives very quickly.

For XP the LW preferences folder is found, well check point #3 here: Point #3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)
