Upgraded to Pro 5, nothing downloads
 

Help!!! I just upgraded to Pro 5, which I already hate. first I couldnt get an internet connection so I deleted LW & reinstalled it, and then got turbo connection finally, but anything I try to download, doesn't. I've never had problems before with downloading music or videos. I run off of DSL, use Vista, and I want LW 4 back. anybody have an idea why no downloads are taking place?? thanks...

What happens when you try to download?
Do you see the file appear at the bottom of the search results section? Does it say 'stalled'? If the file's stalled, either try clicking 'try again' or else start a new search for the file.

If you're using Pro, your personal download page has a link to 4.18.8 on the left hand side - 'Get LimeWire Classic'.

I too "upgraded" to Pro 5 and am having the same problems and want to go back to Pro 4. Where is this "personal download page" so I can do this?

I decided to uninstall the program and reinstall and that seems to have solved things for the moment. I use the classic search screen. It wasn't broken, as far as I can tell.
