help me with this vista-limewire crap!!
 

I just bought a new computer, it has windows vista 32 bit...i want to download and use limewire, but it wont connect. It will download but wont connect to let me download any music. and if that isnt enough, i tried to fix it myself(stupid) by downloading some vista upgrade, so now when i get it downloaded and open the limewire it is HUGE.. the resolution is all messed up and it still wont connect.

I thought Vista was 64 bit. :confused: Sorry to hear you are stuck with Vista.

So your LW can connect, you can search ok, but downloads are not connecting. That's an upload/download problem, not a connection problem since your LW is able to connect. ;) I will move your thread to that section. :)

You will most likely need to change your monitor or graphic settings. These have probably been changed by the update. Only other solution I can think of is this one http://www.gnutellaforums.com/gettin...-limewire.html

As for downloads not connecting, they 'might' be fakes. Take a look at this & get to learn the sizes to avoid Virus thread: Typical virus spam file sizes - Make a note of them (click on blue link to see). Best answer usually is to re-search a file topic to find more sources to download from. Also using the Get More Results option. Another option is to cancel download, re-select it to download from search results, that sometimes sparks the download into action. :)
