L/W Pro Vers. 5.1.1 song Launch Problem
 

Having installed latest version of Limewire, I sucessfully downloaded a few music files which then successfully launched. However, now I can still download music files but when I try to 'Launch' any of the new files, the player just plays an old file. In the Library I can highlight one of the newly downloaded songs but the little blue dot appears against the next listed of the original songs downloaded and that is what is then played. I can see the name of the highlighted song briefly appearing in the 'Player' mode but quickly is replaced by an 'old' song.
The latest version of Java 1.6.0-12 is installed. I have tried to solve the problem by reinstalling LimeWire twice but problem still remains. What now, please?

I can think of two possible reasons. Firstly, the LW media player is not that good & is a little unreliable playing some songs. Secondly, the file(s) that refuse to play might either be corrupt or not true music files a.k.a. spam. ;)
