Specific artist download problem
 

hi guys, using limewire on my lap top, windows vista. i can download all songs without problem, but for some reason, i cant download anything by ****, more specifically ****. i have downloaded songs before trying to download **** and after, and have no issues with them. however, when i try to download his stuff, it finds the songs, and when i try to download them, it tries to connect to the sources and then fails. the selections are 4-star, multiple sources, and i doubt all the 20 different attempts were viruses. any reason the program can have problems with just one specific artist or one specific song, regardless of how many different files youve tried to download?

anywhere between 3000-4000 KB, depending on the file selected

If the file is not starting, you can try cancelling from download window & reselecting from search results. But only if the file has not started since cancelling downloads in LW 5 deletes the incomplete file also. Using this technique in LW 4 is fine however as it does not delete the incomplete file. Also right-click the search tab & choose get more results. :)

But keep an eye out on the file size, also make sure it shows a bit rate. Otherwise these files might be fakes, corrupt, viruses, etc. The more metadata id3 tag information they have, the more likely they are to be good files. eg: album, artist, year, bitrate, description/comments, etc.
