Yes, you will need to remove a file called install limewire.pkg from the Receipts folder. OSX -> Library -> Receipts folder. Example image here: Receipts folder sample image

For OSX 10.4 Tiger, you can use LW 4.18.8 or the next one down. However 4.18.8 should be fine.

(You will not be able to use LW 5.)
