lw5 (disc problem)

I updated to lw5 and now when I try to download music get an error message that reads; There is a disc problem...I had lw4 I have uninstalled and reinstalled both programs and when I went back to lw4 I got the disc error message ...I currently have the lw5 can anyone help... windows xp
