cant play music.
 

Hello. Im gettin a problem with Limewire and wondering if someone could help. I downloaded a song but it wont play. Every song I download, I launch it and it goes straight to Music Match Jukebox, but the acquiring licence wont go threw. Can anybody help? Is there any other way to listen to the music I downloaded without using Music Match? My friend has this program and when it gets done downloading she just double clicks it and it plays.

Any help would be awesome. I cant figure it out.

What format are the songs? Which version of LW are you using?

Have you tried using another player (eg WMP, WinAmp, iTunes) to play the files?

If you're using LW 4, Go to your LW library, click on Saved Files then click Explore (bottom left). Now your saved folder's open...right click on a file > open with > & choose another player to open the file.
If you want to make that player your default player then right click on a file > open with > choose program > select the player you want from the list > tick the box to always use this program to open files of this type > ok.

If you're using LW 5 go to My Library > right click on a file > locate on disk. Now your saved folder's open...right click on a file > open with > & choose another player to open the file.
If you want to make that player your default player then right click on a file > open with > choose program > select the player you want from the list > tick the box to always use this program to open files of this type > ok.
