All my files are marked to be 'illegal'
 

I recently installed LW and have a really good feeling about it:aweof:,
but every time I do a search and choose a file to download it sais :

"LimeWire is unable to find a license for this file. Download it anyway?

LimeWire cannot monitor or control the content of the P2P network,
so please respect your local copyright laws.":bangh:

Can ANYONE help me?

ps: the files I wanted are music files, and there can't be anything wrong with ALL the files?!

Easy fix. :) See License requirement (click on link) & follow instructions. ;) Post #4 is probably the one you most want to see.

Well, downloading files from LW is illigal ANYWAY, so next time it pops up, click "Download Anyway", and then check the box "Do not Show this Message Again", and you get bothered no more, just look out for the .exe files, hazadous

oh c'mon d00d....sheesh...that statement ONLY applies to copywritten materials...admittedly that is the majority of the content on the network, still....

but i mean, c'mon you hardly EVER see files that have licences, 99% of files ON there are copywritted...

OK...I guess I should have said 'vast majority'...

Its funny because most people think that Lw is illigal to download, its up to YOU to break the law, not them, so technically, (like the pirate bay), they would be let off on a "technicallity"
