One Download at a time? Do I have to pay now?

So limewire's been my best friend for a long time, because I don't really download music that much, but when I do need that one song, it's easy to find, takes three seconds to download, and I could download up to four or five files at a time.

Now, for some reason, I am limited to only one download at a time. I blamed my internet, but that's clearly not the issue since I'm at my friend's house right now, and his internet connection kicks ***.

No matter how small the file is, or whether or not it's seeding from 500 people, if I try to download another file, the kb/s drops steadily as the other file's rises, until they've traded places. It still says it's connected, but it doesn't download. If I kill download number #2 while download #1's kb/s is dropping, it goes back up again.

So why am I only allowed one at a time now? Even as a non-paying member, that's not really a lot to be offered.

Sup?

Does not matter whether you are using Pro or LW Basic. If you are having problems connecting to hosts to download, then you can use functions such as pause, resume, Find More Results, re-search topic.

I get the impression you are downloading torrent files when you say 500 hosts. Sorry but LW is hopeless at torrents. Get a proper torrent program such as uTorrent or Vuse.
