Can't play video downloads
 

Ever since I upgraded to the latest LimeWire version I can't view any MPG files I downloaded. I never had any problems with previous versions, and I have no problems with audio files. When I click on PLAY nothing happens. What do I do???

can you view any of your old downloads?..i.e. is this problem just with newly acquired files, or all files past and present?

I use the Download K-Lite Codec Pack so that I can view most all video files...its possible that the new install somehow blew the old codecs offa your machine, as it were, and installing a codec pac will perhaps solve the issue...

I'm going to assume you're using windows here...start>control panel>add remove programs....check that list and if you already have a codec pac installed, uninstall it before installing a new one...

There is a known bug between LW & WMP. Also with Real P. So instead, play the video files outside of LW, or instead use VLC - (click on link).
