I installed limewire a few days ago and downloaded a bunch of songs, and then transferred them to my iPOD. I went on last night to download more songs but i clicked it and the arrow would appear and it would say it was downloading at the bottom but nothing would happen and the status wouldn't change.

Search the files again is best way so you can find host sources for the files to continue downloading. Or do you mean you selected 'new' downloads from a search & the files showed downloading but nothing happened? I'm not clear on your meaning. What status did they show?
