Uploading (songs to phone)

I need help with uploading songs to my phone
Im using a usb cord to it

birdy August 11th, 2009 08:12 PM

Check the phone's manual to see whether you have to add files to a program (eg Windows Media Player) & then transfer to your phone.

You'll need to find LW's saved folder (where the songs are saved) as well.

LW 4: Tools > options > saving will show you the location.

LW 5: Tools > options > downloads saving will show you the location.

i dont get where that is cuz i found where the songs r saved but then idk what to do

birdy August 11th, 2009 08:33 PM

Do you have to add your files to another program/player before you move them to your phone?

Peerless August 11th, 2009 08:34 PM

special (proprietary) software is probably required to move any sort of file to a phone..

Atlas808 August 11th, 2009 08:55 PM

well i have it on a player but when i look for the usb connection to my comp i cant find it

birdy August 11th, 2009 10:18 PM

Do you mean that when you plug your phone into your computer, it doesn't show up in My Computer?

Have you checked the phone's manual? There should be instructions for adding files to the phone.

What's the brand & model of your phone? Which OS (XP, Vista etc) are you using?

Lord of the Rings August 11th, 2009 10:43 PM

Although it's unlikely for a USB device ... it might require something to be installed before you can use your phone on your computer (drivers, or audio-organising software, etc.) That's why Birdy emphasized checking your phone manual. Different brands use different techniques in same way different brand of portable players have different techniques of transferring music.

What is the brand & model of your phone may I ask? :) And also as Birdy also asked, which Operating System version are you using?

Perhaps different model to yours ... http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/co...1.1_080923.pdf

Else search your particular model, http://www.samsung.com/ check the Downloads section for that model as there might be a manual there.

Looks like a few people have had issues with ringtones. Are you with Sprint?
Check out the links below for some info. Or Google Samsung Rant mp3 ringtones or something similar - you'll find heaps of info.

It's easy over here, we give the phone a good wind up ... get through to the operator who places a call for us, within just a few minutes we're connected, it's fantastic, ... until the local wildlife knock over the phone lines jumping over the farm fences. Repetitive checking miles of lines & repairing is the only PITA. Koala's chew the lines down also ... let alone the possums, sometimes the koalas do somersaults as they balance like acrobats across the phone lines ...

Music ... 16 rpm records .. fantastic ... especially on a faster speed such as 32, 45 or 75 lol :D Dance twice the speed!

Atlas808 August 13th, 2009 09:20 PM

none of them r working for me =[
