I have the same problem. Config is as follows:
  • HP QuadCore,
  • 8M ram;
  • Windows 7 (upgrade from Vista).
  • Limewire 5.3.6 Pro.

I'm trying to download a classical music file, 50.25G. The torrent can be found here:

Download: Bach Complete Works (Hänssler Edition) - Music - Classical - Free Torrent download : Fenopy

There are typically 30 - 50 P2P users shown on this download. It works for a while and then Limewire shuts down. I close the application and restart LW. Either the download resumes automatically or it's gone altogether and I redownload the torrent. If I redownload the torrent it resumes from where it was.
