limewire downloads needing password to extract
 

What passwords are there to open up/extract downloaded programs from limewire?

uh ... that's warez talk. Unfortunately we are unable to advise on that question. ;) If we did, we would leave this forum open to legal pressure for it to be forced to close. I hope you understand why we don't allow those types of Q/A here. :)

oh btw, have you heard of torrents? :)

to put it more distinctly (skipping any concept of warez), just how do you really expect any of us to know a password for any specific file (even if you were allowed to name it)?

your best, and only, hope would be to check out Bitzi and see if that file is listed there and perhaps a reviewer left the password (most likely the file is going to have a negative review)....I guess a secondary hope would be that the password is given as a comment to the archive...

we are not releasers and therefor haven't a clue as to any passwords associated with those files...

songs and many other small files can be opened immediately. some programs when downloaled will be in rar or zip. When I extrtact them it says to "enter password for the encrypted file "name of file program" Many say that

LW does have ability to download torrents but there are better torrent programs out there such as uTorrent & Vuse.
