When your LimeWire downloads it creates a file in your "incomplete" folder which is located in your LimeWire folder. After the download is finished, it transfers the file over to your "saved" folder or whatever folder you had created or directed it to when you installed your LimeWire.

Also, if you previewed your file before it was finished, then there is an incomplete file of it still in your "incomplete" folder which remains until you delete it.

Be careful not to delete incomplete files that are currently in the process of downloading.

If you changed the download location, at least some of the incomplete files will remain in old location, the new ones will move to the new incomplete folder on the other drive near where the download destination was set.

If you set to only download categories to a new location, the incomplete folder always follows the Audio/Music folder. So keep that in mind.

Oh btw you can right-click any downloading file & choose change location.

Default incomplete files are saved on the wrong drive

I have this problem too. However, I have installed LimeWire on my D:\ drive but it still uses C:\ for the incomplete folder. What's wrong? Even when i right click and change location, it still stays on C:| drive.

The old incomplete folder will remain. In the new location a new incomplete folder will be located but only 'some' of the incomplete files will transfer immediately to the new incomplete folder location. But 'all' new downloads will go to new incomplete folder. All completed downloads will transfer to the new download folder location.

Sounds a bit messy I know. Some incomplete files remain in old location, some transfer to new incomplete folder.
