limewire keeps deleting file after download

i am new to limewire. i am on a mac with leopard osX using limewire 5.5.6.
i download files onto the computer but after each download, limewire says it is a dangerous file with an exclamation mark and deletes the file. it does that to every file. is there something i can uncheck or check to get rid of that feature. thanks for any help

Unfortunately there are sponsored organisations out there attempting to prevent / hamper inspiration for sharing of copyright files. Thus, they spam the network with stupid non useful files. LW is self programmed to detect some of the most dangerous spam files & deletes them upon finish downloading because they contain viruses.
