"Problem Downloading Your File"
Using version 5.5.8, every attempt (of 13 files) to download file in TV category on Demonid.com I am advised, "Sorry There is a problem downloading your file". I have uninstalled & re-installed LimeWire twice, no change.

Try these things:
1. Delete your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included 2nd last post of page.) And remember to move your Downloads file out of preferences folder before doing this. Return it later whilst LW is closed after step 2 below. 2. I have the same problem.. it lets me try again but then within like 5 minutes it stops again. it's driving me nuts! i'm trying both of the suggestions posted above so i am really hoping they work!

Limewire is not a very good torrent client. Many torrent sites will not allow dl's via LW because it does not subscribe to certain protocols (such as tracking share ratio). You'd be much better off using Vuze or uTorrent; both are free, and recommended by many of us here.
