File Sharing Folders

i've been on LW forever; just upgraded to the 5.5.8 version. boy, talk about a new & dif world.

previously, my downloads in progress were in my 'incomplete' folder; completed downloads joined my already shared files in my 'shared' folder. I would like to resume that process.

during 5.5.8 setup, i was allowed to designate completed downloads go to my 'shared' folder...same as my previous LW version. that's kool!

currently, my green 'my files' folder replicates the same files in my library which are not the same as located in my 'shared' folder.

during a search function, i can't find that 'my files' folder = where i can EITHER clean it out and replace them w/my 'shared' folder files OR is there a simpler way that i can just designate my 'shared' folder for file sharing purposes?
