problem downloading songs: "Limewire is unable to find a license for this file. download it anyway?"
 

I just recently paid for the 6 month trial of limewire pro. When i downloaded it and installed it to my computer everything appeared to be pretty normal but when i try to download a song i get a message that reads " Limewire is unable to find a license for this file. download it anyway?"

I am not sure what this means or why it comes up whenever i try to download a song but i want to respect all copyright laws and make sure everything that im downloading is safe.

If you could help me figure out why this is, i would greaty appreciate it.

Almost all commercial songs you hear on radio are copyright files. Downloading these would be breaching copyright laws. You need to decide whether you wish to download anyway or not, ie: License requirement (click on link) (see post #4) :)

see if a non paid limewire works :)

Pro or Basic; it doesn't matter re this issue.
