After storm & lost connection, all i get now are stalled searches
 

I recently purchased Limewire Pro for 1 yr. everything was going great up until a few days ago..we had a major storm and hydro was off for a few minutes but anyways i have tried to download music and all i get now are stalled searches..how do i fix the problem or am i doing something wrong? I would appreciate it very much if someone could tell me how to fix it..thanx in advance

The two things might not be related. However, try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included 2nd last post of page.) Make sure to backup your Downloads(.dat) file before deleting this preferences folder however. ;) * Warning: this will mean you will need to do all the set up again with LW's Option settings!

In general I suggest you use the Search function. The Fixed Stalled tool only has limited abilities & only seeks the previous uploader(s) who since may not be online else have dynamic and now different ip address. Also right-click search tab & choose Find More Results. This will help to find more sources to download from. :)
