msg: you are behind a firewall and do not support firewall transfers
 

G'day
i have limewire 5 and have just added files to be shared I had not got any requests so I checked the advanced tools and there read the title msg along side this message is a question mark which when pointed at shows the msg: limewire is behind a NAT or firewall that assigns a different external port to each connection

I have checked my windows XP firewall and it is ok also i checked my DSL modem and it's firewall is set at off I also checked with my ISP and they advised that I am not limited by them so am I just not getting any hits because no one is looking please advise

What I'd be curious about is if this problem always occurs. Try rebooting & see if same issue.

Well I have finally recieved and processed uploads so it seems the problem was that nobody was looking even though I have over 6000 files to share but thanks for your help regards
