lost all downloaded music
 

We took out out 2.2.3 and 2.2.4 versions and got the 2.3.1 and when we went into the library, all our music was gone from everywhere, even the hard drive. Is there a way to get it all back? There is a lot of time and effort put into this collection and none of it has been burnt to CD yet.

try looking in LimeWire's Shared folder, not the Library. the library is just a reference of files, not the actual physical files. if they're not in there, go to LimeWire preferences and select Shared in the left column. that should tell you where files are being shared, and you can go to that folder and locate them. as a last resort, do a Sherlock search for one of the files you know you are missing, then open that folder, and you should find the rest of the files, as well.
