Default Can't Resume

Limewire 2.3.2 for mac os 9 has provided me with a pretty good service altogether although there are some very fustrating problems.
Sometimes (not all the time) when i quit limewire or my computer crashes with downloads still in progress, they don't continuse to download after i restart the programme. I have numurous incomplete downloads, some are very big and very near completion and i would love to be able to resume them again. I'm sure it is very simple to overcome, probably something to do with the .dat file in the incomplete folder and if anyone can help, i would be very grateful.

Default resume downloads

I've got same thing; works fine as long as I get the whole file in 1 session, if I lose connection asn restart the file starts over at 0% even thought I might have 90% already down. If this thing won't resume it doesn't do any good for someone w/ a slow connection.

Unhappy same can't resume

I also can't resume downloads, though the files are in the incomplete folder. We have some kind of windows, 98 perhaps?
Limewire will also not save changes I make in options between one use of the program and the next, which may be related.

Lightbulb Partial file resume.

Hey I knew I saw this somewhere and I found it again and saved it to my music files. It's the official Limewire how to resume a download out of your partial file. Bit af a pain in the --- compared to some others but could save hours (or days from the fastest I can get a download conection) of starting over.
Hope it helps you all somewhat.
