Download Settings

It would be the best thing to let people get the full download speed, cause i myself dont have a whole day to download a mere 150 something meg file, and im on a connection thats faster than T3+. I think those individuals are "leeches" and mooching off others, and not putting out. So if you dont participate , then dont even browse or download from me. THANKX.

And what about the majority of people who are dial up users? You're the one who sounds like a leech! Pretty arrogant attitude! Who are you interested in? lol http://gooroosgruntz.neronhosting.com/emoticons/sad.gif

the downloading problem.

to whom it may concern !!

im kinda still green at this, and no im not a leech. If you want the good stuff i got it ! but dont put your bad karma on me. I would just like to download a little promptly, instead of waiting upteen days for one file. If i offended anyone on the network, i appologize. It was my act to be patient. so dont lash out at me, im a serious downloader, and would like to reward anyone sharing with me. thanks guys and girls.

Peace,

NIHM.

RE;Your Last post

If you have a connection that is Faster than a T3, then I don't see how it can take you all day to download a mere 150MB download, which takes me 15 mins TOPS, and I am just Broadband.
No harm No foul on the last post, as I was not lashing out at you, but you did come off as being pretty uppity-lol. Peace to ya too.

thanx tenring1. Im on a satellite band that puts out 65MB/s down, and 10 MB/s on the upload. I dont know, maybe its just me. I got 3 differnt p2p's going on right now, and still i get the ugly end of the stick. O'Fearless One, give me some pointers PLEASE ?
E-Mail me, thanx again.

Maybe (maybe I say) it's because you are running 3 p2p apps simultaneously (that's what I gather from your post).
To get 1 dld faster, you should dld it from the fastest possible source (T3 if you can find one, but beware: they won't always serve what they say) and have only that dld active. It should be finished in record time

murasame March 10th, 2005 05:15 PM

Oh also, are you sure it's 60MBps and not 60Mbps ?
It sounds dumb but it's important as B is for bytes and b is for bits and 1 Byte=8 bits

MEGABYTES--- I and 3 others designed this cutting edge technology. the abillity to launch the web via. satellite in conjunction with USB ports, and not some bulky box, and coax cable.

Lord of the Rings March 11th, 2005 03:22 AM

Maybe that's why. I mean, usb modems (even if you're not using a usb modem) for example, draw power & cycles from the computer & cpu. They can be unreliable. Satellite is also very subseptible to weather, sun gamma rays, etc. Just a thought. There's been bad weather in many places in recent months.
