Fast Download Taking Forever
 

Im on a 1.5mbit DSL connection running BearShare 4.7

As corny as it may sound I have been trying to download St*r W*rs Episode VI. The download is in AVI format using DivX Codec. At first it was moving along nice and fast but when I turned on BearShare this morning it seems to be very slow. I have been downloading the file for 2 days but it seems its never going to finish. BearShare shows the download speed as bouncing anywhere from 40kbps to 240kbps. The problem is the file size isnt increasing hardly any. It has been coming in all day and the file size has barely increased 10MB. I have previewed the file using the DivX Player and it plays only 11 minutes and 53 seconds even though I have well over 3/4 of the file downloaded.


Im brand new to BearShare but so far It seems ok, At Least you can get a movie to download even though it may slower then moses.

No help or explaination as to why this might be happening, only a link to forum rules. No suprise.
