Cant Open movies
 

When i try to open a movie this is the message i get .."Windows Media Player cannot play file. The player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file"....... Im not sure if i am doing something wrong or what, is there some other source i need to open my files with or what?

PLEASE HELP!
