can I ask what you mean by re-search? I have about 5 different versions of the same movie, I tried diff ones hoping that would work, each with over 100 hosts. All say exactly the same thing - waiting.
That's why I was thinking bearshare is good for music but not movies. I have never had a problem before but this is weird.

Stay away from files with hundreds of hosts. They are most likely faked files you will never be able to download. Try to choose files with some 10-20 hosts.
With re-search I meant to search for the name of the file again, to see whether they show up in the search results.
There is usually no problem with downloading movies using Bearshare. Whether LW or Bearshare or FW is better for downloading is hard to tell. Mostly it is a question of personal preference. I personally prefer Phex rather than Bearshare; though they are quite similar and good. My standard program, however, is LW, whereas I like to appearance of FW much more.
