small problem - I'm only D/Ling .wma files - No .mp3 So yesterday i downloaded Bearshare for the first time. i got the newest version and downloaded 1420 songs, buttttttt when i went to put them into itunes to get them onto my ipod the files were protected wma files. i spent most of today trying to convert the files and unlock them but have had no luck. so i decided to delete those files because they are stuck on my computer (i didnt want to burn ever single song to a CD). i downloaded the older bearshare and the bearstart. but the thing that was sooo awsome about the bearsahre that i had was downloading whole CDs at a time. is this possible in the older version???? |

Forget BS 6 ! And, just about anything is possible with the older versions. If you do start using the 5.x.x series of BearShare, don't add ANY of the other garbage to it... Garbage ? Yeah, garbage meaning the crap that is (and was) pumped out near the end of the real Freepeers Bearshare products. Do not perform any so-called BS upgrades of any kind once you have a clean BS 5.x.x version running to your satisfaction. |

Thanks for the reply, is there anyway to get the interface of BS 6 for the old version that i downloaded from here?? i really liked it, kind of a free itunes. |

and how, with this BS do you download whole CDs at a time?? |

Not AFAIK. Check this thread: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-d...sabotaged.html It is where you will find a great version BS. For downloading albums at a time, excuse the different forum section & program, but get hints from here: How to Downld whole albums & Albumwrap |
