some files will NEVER download
 

hi i was just wondering if someone could tell me the difference between the green & the black font of the speed on the search page of bearshare? coz when i try to download a file with black font (speed only) it will never download it always says WAITING no matter how long i leave it or how many sources it says there are but if i try to download a file with green font then it is successful. my connection is dsl,( i usually appear to be an ultrapeer if thats relevant) and i'm running windows xp sp2 ( i'm not a mac user) thnx:idea:

How to spot and avoid fake search results.

Most of the fakes are spread from hacked LimeWire and Shareaza servents,
which is why BearShare doesn't show them in green.

Fortunately you have BearShare, which is the only one with the tools you
need to spot and avoid those fakes. ;]

This is a problem I have as well. I'll see a file and it may have 75 sources but when I try to download it, it will just say connecting and never do anything more until it finally says "need more sources". I'm using Limewire. Does this mean those are fakes? And is there any way of telling which are fakes? I wish I was a techie because I don't understand how(or why) they even put fake search results on there in the first place. It is a bit frustrating.
