where has my bearshare downloads folder gone
 
When I first got bearshare there was an icon on my desktop bearshare downloads this has disappeared how do I get it back.

right here's my specs
 
os xp pro
firewalls windows xp firewall
ram 1.5 gb
hard disk space 65.6 gb freespace
connection cable broadband
modem motorola 6500
router made in hong kong unknown
connect from home
isp virgin
test your test worked
sharing one other
expierience experienced user
anti vir avg 7.5
country england

I hope thats ok for my computer specs how do people view them?

I have already posted my problem which is where has my bearshare downloads icon gone to, it was on my desktop, I can no longer find it how do I get it back.

In BearShare, go to the File menu and select Explore Downloads. When that folder opens you can
use Windows to create a new icon if you want. Don't forget to disable that Windows desktop
cleanup wizard if you don't want it to delete the icon again.

There is no explore downloads when I click on the file menu in bearshare.

I guess you're using the non-BearShare version 6 then. If it has a configuration tool, or
Options menu, you will find the location of your downloads folder somewhere in there.

If you have Windows Vista there are more potential complications such as folders becoming
invisible when you log in as a different user. If you have Vista make sure you are logged in
on the same user account that you used to install BearShare.
