Default BS 5.2.5 sources problem
I have the 5.2.5 version of BS and in the preferences under the download tab, I used to be able to put however many sources I can connect to per file but now I can't put any number above 8. This causes me to get less sources per download. Is there any way to fix this?

Did you just make the mistake of switching to Vista? BearShare interprets that new version
number as a downgrade and reverts to settings for Windows 98.

Your obvious fix is to upgrade back to Windows XP.

Are you sure that that's what the problem is because if it is then it really sucks is there any way to fix this besides switching back to XP because I tried changing the compatibility option also and it didn't help.

Not any more. Development stopped in 2005 so there won't be any more updates to BearShare.

LOL I love my XP (with licence to ) so Im out of this kinda problem with vista crap........just saying
