what does finalizing mean?

all of my files have been in the finalizing stage for a long time what does this mean?

btw,i'm new to bearshare.

I think that has something to do with the DRM in the counterfeit v6 version of what is called
BearShare now. Check to see if your firewall has blocked the site where the DRM connects to get
keys or if you missed a payment and they locked your music.
