This is bullshit I noticed while downloading this stupid Bearshare.exe file kept trying to download now when I start Bearsharelite it makes me choose an upgrade option? is there a way around this?

Easy...
Completely erase from your mind the idea of using BearShare Lite or any of the other truly criminal versions of what was once the great BearShare...

Just do a search for BearShare Pro v5.2.5.3 - CLEAN.zip ... it's 8,823.7KB.

No worries. And no nonsense with pretending that you can routinely knock your computer's 'clock' back without mega-probs. It's THE copy/version that you want.

Hi DJ
I know exactly what you mean...I was having the same problem. I went to setup..options..uploads...under sharing, I disabled the share files from library option...and under miscellaneous, I disabled the allow others to browse my files option..BSInstall is still in my d/l section still trying to force the upgrade...but so far so good... its highlighted red and all it has been doing is searching...hasn't made any connections...yet...we'll see, but hope this helps..let me know
