These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum. These off-topic posts may impede the normal operation of the forum. Edit posts. Moderators will edit posts that are offensive or break any of the House Rules. Delete posts.  Salut Et Voilà, bonne nouvelle pour toi ! (USB & LW)! Je suis de retour pour te confirmer ce que tu sais déjà, et te faire plaisir en me joignant (mais je l'étais déjà) à toi pour conspuer les modems USB: tu te souviens de qques thread précédent où je te disais que malgré une bonne ligne adsl (900 m du nra - attenuation 13 dB - ...), depuis une récente augmentation du débit, les connections décroissaient au bout d'un temps aléatoire ? Et bien je te le confirme: c'est à cause de la carte usb 1.1 que j'ai qui sature ! hahaha ! tu peux haïr les modems usb encore plus ! En effet, maintenant, mon fai Free a encore augmenté le débit (7000 en récéption/625 en émission) mais le DL d'un fichier révèle 50ko/s: je débranche petit à petit les scanners, imprimante, graveur, clavier, souris, ... et je vois le débit qui bombe !!!! Le max de débit que ma carte peut accepter (avec tout branché) est 4500 en récéption, mais il faut commencer à débrancher des périph. pour plus (alors t'imagines avec 7000 !) Vivement ce G5 bipro en septembre. Allez, à +, Samos  |

| Putain, ta config internet et matérielle va buter!!!  Tu vois Samos, c'est rare que je déteste qqc sans bonne raison (j'ai dejà entendu maintes histoires d'horreur avec les choses exigentes + USB 1). Merci pour la MÀJ. Tu me redonneras des nouvelles lorsque tu prendras possession de ta nouvelle config (sur la vitesse de la machine et le test LW vs Poisoned vs Xfactor vs etc).Alors À +

| Me revoilà... ... mais cette fois-ci avec un G5 bipro et un écran de 19" (6 ans avec l'écran d'un iMac combo, ça fait du bien quand on change !). Effectivement, là, ça envoie sévère ! Whaouuu ! Bon, j'ai dl vite fait Poisoned et j'te dirai c'que j'en pense (à priori, y'a un peu trop de frime coté "j'me connecte à tout le monde" sur ce que j'ai constaté dans les préférences, en 5mn)... | Hahaha, excellent Moi à ta place j'essaierais xfactor à la place de poisoned (www.xfactor.cc) les composantes de protocole sont aussi basées sur le projet giFT, mais il est régulièrement MÀJ. Samos, pourquoi ne pas nous narguer en mettant les spécifications de ta machine dans ta signature? Bi 1.8Ghz? Et oui, ça doit cramer un iMac g3 pour déjeûner À+

| Ok Voilà donc en bas une signature de mythomane... Bon, c'est pas trop mon truc, mais comme ch'uis tout fou, pourquoi pas. J'ai DL X-Factor et effectivement, il assure vraiment bien. D'ailleurs, comment se fait-il que tu sois autant pro LW, alors que tu m'as toi-même conseillé X-Factor que je trouve bien ? Tu l'aimes pas, toi ? Je vais voir à l'usage... En tous cas, y'a plus de monde sur le réseau, énormément plus de fichiers partagés (et oui, 3 réseaux !) et les réponses sont plus nombreuses que sur LW, pour une même requête. Ceci dit, j'ai toujours pas trouvé une interface aussi conviviale que LW. à +, Sam. |

| Resalut Samos, bon moi je suis pas trop fan de l'interface de LW. En fait, j'aime plus celle de Xfactor  Xfactor en gros se connecte à fasttrack (réseau de Kazaa) + gnutella + openFT. Ce qui est la vérité, c'est qu'une recherche sur Xfactor rejoint moins de personnes que LW pour des fichiers rares et voici pourquoi. Le réseau Kazaa est fait de façon à ce que tu rejoignes maximum 20 000 personnes. Le plugin giFT-gnutella ne supporte pas les dernières technologies gnutella (+ il ne peut pas contribuer à gnutella en étant ultra-pair -UP-, la base du réseau). Ce qui fait que giFT-gnutella rejoint p'têtre 10 000 personnes sur gnutella. opnenFT est un réseau de 10 000 personnes. Addition: 20 000 + 10 000 +10 000 = 40 000. Je te garantis que sur LW tu rejoins au moins 100 000 personnes dans les mêmes conditions. Essaie avec une toune rare et vois toi-même les résultats. En plus Xfactor est dépendant des UP de Kazaa et gnutella ce qui fait qu'il est seulement indépendant sur le réseau openFT. En gros c'est un assemblage de technologies incomplètes. LW possède avec Bearshare LA meilleure technologie de recherche sur P2P point final. Je préfère encourager les personnes qui innovent et qui bâtissent que des personnes qui ne font qu'en profiter (xfactor). En fait Xfactor et poisoned ce ne sont que des interfaces, puisque les plugin Kazaa, gnutella et openFT sont des sources ouvertes codés par d'autres programmeurs. Xfactor ne va donner que plus de résultats que sur une recherche de qqc de populaire. De toute façon, et pour conclure, quand LW 4.2 va sortir ce mois ci avec transferts pare-feu à pare-feu, les autres réseaux et plugin bâclés vont paraîtres désuets et sous performants.Ciao et profite de ton nouveau foudre de vitesse Samos

| Ouais, c'est défendable Je suis d'accord avec toi sur le support aux personnes innovantes plutôt qu'à ceux qui profitent de technologies faites par d'autres... LW parait effectivement plus costaud et mieux réfléchi, mais j'ai eu plus de réponses (en nombre) sur xfactor. Ce qui est sûr, c'est que Poisoned, qui me séduisait beaucoup, se révèle en fait décevant en terme d'efficacité concrète. Ensuite, LW bosse sur le port 6346, mais xfactor... sur le port de kaaza, openFT et gnutella ? Donc 3 ports ? Quels sont-ils ? (Parce que je ne peux pas comparer si je bloque les requêtes des 2 premiers...) On en reparlera... à +, Samos. |

| Ouais... ... ça y est, j'ai bien testé xFactor, mais il m'a pris la tête. En fait, sur une recherche, le nombre de réponse est séduisant, dû au fait qu'il se connecte à plusieurs réseaux, mais de là à ce que les DL se fassent en conséquence, y'a un pas qui n'est pas encore franchi ! En conclusion: Poisoned -> je l'ai jeté; xfactor -> je le garde dans un coin mais y'a cette histoire de ports non résolue; LW -> a gagné les comparaisons, même si le nombre de fichiers partagés est inférieur, je le trouve plus "transparent", plus efficace... J'aimerais bien quand même faire marcher xfactor correctement, mais les options paramétrables ne sont pas légions, alors... Déjà lancé xfactor et LW en même temps ? ça devrait être jouable, en théorie... Samos. |
