Desactiver le Fire wall

Faut il vraiment désactiver le firewall,afin de permettre de telecharger mieux et permettre le transfert facilement pour autrui,et quelles sont les dangers ? sachant que j'ai un PC p4 avec 1024 de mem et connex ADSL 256k/s, un XP pro, un antivirus Kaspersky,ad*****,Microsoft Antispy*****,Regvac....
