FrostWire 4.9.33 BETA can't start

Hi everybody!!!
The first time i use Frostwire, work good,i download some thinks :),but this(the 2º time)
I start FrostWire, and appears this message:

¡
FrostWire was unable to initialize and start. This is usually due to a FireWall Program blocking FrostWire's acces to the Internet or loopback connections on the local machine.
Please allow FrostWire acces to the internet and restart FrostWire.

Of Course,Frost Wire have permission to connect to the internet.
I Try remove the .frostwire folder, located in
Documentes asn Settings/user/.frostwire,but didn't work.
Lime wire work's fine,in the same PC.
Thankz!!!!!!!!!

Hi Coronel

That might happen if you try to run both at the same time, or other reasons.

Try the new beta (4.9.34 to see if it happens again).

Otherwise, reset the FrostWire Options->Advanced->Firewall settings to the same as LimeWire's, and let us know if that works.

Hello, and thanks for the forum, I wouldn't be getting anywhere if it weren't available.

I have pretty much the same problem. The first time I used Frostwire right after installation it worked fine and I downloaded a tune. But next time I tried to use it, it wouldn't start. There's no message, just the hourglass after double clicking for a second, then it goes away and nothing happens. Task manager doesn't show it open either. I've reinstalled it several times and tried turning the firewall off completely and starting it by right clicking and going through "run as" and de-selecting the "protect my computer...may make program run improperly" option. No work.
Also, when reinstalling it, some of the options that appeared on the first installation did not reappear; such as, whatever that was about de-selecting something through Windows, and the option of making your files available to others.

I don't know.

XP, Java 2 I think (whatever version Frostwire installs automatically, Java doesn't show up on the program list and some of the files when I search for Java say 1.5, but another says Java 2).

I've tried it also without any firewall in windows, and I don't use any antivirus software, but the program won't even open.
I also tried the other file sharing program, BearWear and it will open but when I try to search for something, says that there's an error and it can't connect to the gnutella network. It has an automatic page it sent me to that shows the likely causes of the problem but none of them are my problem.
I tried Morpheus and it works good. So I suppose I'll just use that.
